Global surgical robotics company CMR Surgical welcomes former Johnson & Johnson executive Sushobhan Dasgupta to target high-growth markets
Global surgical robotics company CMR Surgical announced on February 19th, 2024 that former Johnson & Johnson (J&J) executive Sushobhan Dasgupta has joined its ranks as president and chief commercial officer of the Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa region. This personnel adjustment marks the further strengthening of CMR Surgical’s strategic layout in the global market, especially in the Asia-Pacific, Middle East and Africa regions where surgical robots are growing the fastest.
Personnel changes
Sushobhan Dasgupta has over 30 years of extensive experience in the global medical technology market, including a 30-year career with Johnson & Johnson. He served as a global board member and member of the Asia Pacific MedTech leadership team at Johnson & Johnson Medical Technologies, most recently as Managing Director, Johnson & Johnson Healthcare India and Vice President, Orthopedics, Johnson & Johnson Asia Pacific. His joining will undoubtedly bring rich industry experience and deep industry resources to CMR Surgical.
